Tomahawk District

District Camporee is at Camp Cherokee on April 16, 17, 18.  Tom Bearden is heading up this event.  The theme is the Wild West.

Registration:	Unit registration will begin late Spring.

 

Circle Ten Council is pleased to invite you to a meeting where you will have the opportunity to ineract with our new council leadership.  Sherwood Blount, Council President, Matt Walker, Council Commissioner and Pat Currie, Scout Executive/CEO are conducting a series of these fireside chats with our new council leadership.  You are the only person in your unit receiving this invitation, so feel free to invite your Scouting friends to join us as well.

We got some great news about Twilight Camp.  The City of Mesquite has agreed to allow us to use Rorie Galloway Park.  We will have to work in trade.  There is a scheduled camp cleanup on April 10, 2010.  I would ask every unit in the district to help support this effort.  I'd like to overwhelm the City of Mesquite with the quantity and quality of the service we can provide.  The city will have a laundry list of stuff to do, and tools and materials.  The OA already has it on their calendar.  Please put April 10th on your calendar.
